Brian S. Margolis, D.D.S.
Dr. Brian S. Margolis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has practiced dentistry since 1988 and specialized in periodontics since 1991. He received his dental degree with honors and his periodontal degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation he was inducted into the elite dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and received distinctive awards in periodontics and geriatric dentistry. Part of his training included a general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. There he was exposed to all phases of dentistry, including traumatic injuries of the face and jaw.
Leonid Gefon, D.D.S.
Leonid (Lenny) Gefon, D.D.S. Is a Periodontist who joined Periodontal Associates of Long Island in the summer of 2021. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in psychology and biochemistry from Hunter College-City University of New York in 2006. He then attended Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2010. Dr Gefon remained at Stony Brook and graduated in 2013 with his specialty certificate in Periodontics, which included additional training in dental implant surgery. In his free time Dr Gefon enjoys traveling and participating in outdoor activities.
