Dr. Stephen Mender received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, his periodontal specialty certificate from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and completed a fellowship in Implantology at New York University College of Dentistry.
He is an attending doctor on staff teaching dental residents at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and an assistant clinical professor in the post graduate departments of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at both New York University College of Dentistry and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
Prior to joining Periodontal Associates of Long Island he maintained a specialty practice for many years in neighboring Syosset.

On a Personal Note
Dr. Mender is married, has two grown children, and three grandchildren and enjoys playing golf.
